“Two thousand years ago, we lived in a world of Gods and Goddesses. Today, we live in a world solely of Gods. Women in most cultures have been stripped of their spiritual power.” – Dan Brown

In her first solo exhibition, Jan Sunday reflects on the conventions and constraints placed on the image of the Divine Feminine; how she has been concealed and veiled to the point of becoming demonized. Here, the artist compares personal narratives that merge with how female symbols of spiritual power seem to have been wrongfully incarcerated as they count the days, weeks, months, and years until they are set free to reclaim power.

2000 years will run from November 6 to November 27, 2019
